Eifelschleifen

This morning I'm back to hiking in the Eifel. Starting point Reifferscheid Im Tal 36. It was frosty and cold, but this Eifel loop Sonnenglück is wonderful. Castle, stream, forest and wide fields are all included. Even the sun came out in between. It was fun

Today I hiked the Altusknipp. From the Mühlensee parking lot, I continued to the end of the lake, where the signage began. Sometimes it goes steeply uphill and then downhill again. From the starting point, the Keltenring goes east. After about 500 meters turn left and follow the path into the forest. Today I walked the Eifel loop Milchweg.

The start and end point is in the public parking lot opposite Steinfeld Monastery.

The Steinfeld Monastery is so well preserved today as hardly any other 1000 year old monastery in Germany. The monastery is said to have been mentioned as early as 920.

From the starting point of the hike, the Way of the Cross went south. After a short time you reach Dollendorf. Then briefly follow Lindenstrasse, turn right onto Lampertsweg and then immediately left again. This develops into a forest path. Today I went to the Eifel. I chose the Adlerblick loop in Hellenthal. I was aware that on the trip I would have to pass all the places I knew that had been damaged by the flood. It was horrible to look at.

The weather service had predicted sunshine in the Eifel for today and that's why I hiked this Eifel loop today.

This varied hiking route begins in Schmidtheim, not far from Schmidtheim Castle, past a barefoot and generations park with a small cottage garden, at the Urftweiher and the Maria Frieden monastery… leggi altro

This Eifel loop goes up and down. The flora and fauna habitat area Bürvenicher Berg is one of the highlights.



The start and end point of this circular hike is the center of Floisdorf.

Il monastero di Steinfeld e il paesaggio della brughiera intorno a Krekel e Sistig nel comune di Kall sono al centro dell'escursione di 10 chilometri "EifelSpur Heideheimat".



Il punto di partenza del sentiero circolare è il monastero di Steinfeld a Urft-Steinfeld.

Oggi sono tornato nell'Eifel. Ho percorso il circuito dell'Eifel fino alla comunità di forni da calce di Blankenheim.



La mia escursione è iniziata proprio alla fornace di calce.

Oggi ho percorso questo anello dell'Eifel insieme a Bonnie24. PARTENZA a Kall Urft, che è stata gravemente colpita dall'allagamento dell'Urft.

Nella stessa Urft c'è una stazione ferroviaria, un ostello scolastico, il castello di Dalbenden e l'ex sede di riserva del governo statale del Nord Reno-Westfalia… leggi altro

Oggi @Bonnie24 e io siamo andati a Mechernich per percorrere il sentiero escursionistico sulla storia mineraria di Eifelschleife.

A causa dei danni minerari causati dalla tempesta nel luglio 2021, questo anello dell'Eifel è stato chiuso, ma è di nuovo accessibile.

Oggi @Bonnie24 e io abbiamo fatto il tour abbreviato della Toscana nell'Eifel. Bonnie24 aveva visto e salvato il tour a @Rolf.

Ero un po' in anticipo e ho aspettato un po' più a lungo in uno dei miei posti preferiti vicino alla chiesa e mi sono goduto la vista del Calvario.

Oggi @Bonnie24 e io ci siamo incontrati a Kommern am Mühlensee.

Per prima cosa abbiamo iniziato il secondo giorno di Natale con un delizioso pranzo al ristorante croato.

Poi abbiamo fatto un'escursione sull'idillio a graticcio di Kommern, l'anello dell'Eifel.

Oggi @Bonnie24 e io abbiamo percorso un tratto accorciato dell'Eifelspur Wasser für Köln.



La grotta di Kakus all'inizio e alla fine dell'escursione è uno dei siti preistorici più importanti d'Europa.
