The journey through the Piave Valley and on the former railway line to Cortina d’Ampezzo is a great experience. For the wonderful ride from Cortina to Toblach, the unpaved cycle path on the railway line can be used to the Cimabanche Pass. For the descent to Dobbiaco, the road is more preferable, at least for bikes with narrow tires.

Great tour, first on the bike path through the Eisack Valley, then on lonely streets over Barbian to Ritten. The sweeping descent down the well-developed road to Bolzano is a poem.

We didn't expect it to be a tour with pronounced goosebumps moments today. Thank you, we were very lucky and on 9 out of 10 vacation days, clear blue skies and good visibility. We are very happy to be in the hospitable South Tyrol, also because of the good buses and trains that are free thanks to the MobilCard.
