The breathtaking mountain landscapes of the Dolomites – with their rugged rock faces, green alpine meadows and rustic mountain huts – appear almost as if painted. The sudden transitions from shades of green to grey and the extraordinary shapes of the mountain peaks make this region in the Italian Eastern Alps so unique that it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.
Have you been dreaming of hiking in the Dolomites for a long time but have been put off by the effort involved in planning? Perhaps you’ve only just discovered this special region but would rather spend your free time outdoors than sitting inside and dealing with countless booking platforms. Then you've come to the right place! Bookatrekking takes this burden off your shoulders and helps you to enjoy your trip to the fullest.
With us, you can book all the huts in one go. On top of that, you can enjoy half board everywhere. But don't worry, you don't have to join a confusing tour group to enjoy this luxury – you can simply set off on your own. We’ll provide you with all the important information for your trip.
In this Collection, we’d like to introduce you to seven very special hut Tours from our range in the Dolomites. The Dolomites High Routes 1 and 2 – also known as the Alta Via – are challenging but unique opportunities to cross the Dolomites from north to south, at 118 and 154 kilometres (73 - 96 mi) respectively. Alta Via 1 is a great experience that’s suitable for everyone, regardless of whether you’re doing a hut tour for the first time or whether you’ve already been in and out of mountain huts. Alta Via 2, on the other hand, is geared towards experienced hikers who’ve already mastered several trekking adventures.
The Alta Via Del Granito, the Palaronda Trek, the Three Peaks Hut Tour and the Alta Via di Capra are loops of around 30 to 40 kilometres (19 - 25 mi) in length. The Dolorama Trail is suitable for all hikers and promises incredible panoramic views over almost 60 kilometres (40 mi). You can find more detailed information on all the trails in the respective Tour descriptions.
Pack your rucksack, lace up your hiking boots and off you go. The Dolomites await you.
