Bergwandern Allgäuer Alpen

I was totally flashed by this mega-beautiful tour!

I stole it from a Komootler (Armin Allgäu? 🤔) last year because I liked it.

All in all: PERFECT Sunday round, due to the distance to the mountain railway and no gastronomy on the way (additional options would be the Mindelheimer Hütte = each way there… leggi altro

The only day off this week ... and it was accompanied by thunderstorm warnings for the Allgäu in the morning!

So instead of a big day tour, we decided on a smaller round, which can be shortened or canceled quickly if necessary.

The views of the Allgäu mountains left a lot to be desired due to the Saharan… leggi altro

So I thought that the Hahnenköpfle was my end of the season .... Think about it

In THAT weather the Alps were simply irresistible 😍



The parking lot in Hinterstein costs 10 € / day. As a daily routist, I think that's completely okay.

But you can also take the bus from Hindelang.

Hiked the classic from last October again today with 2 colleagues.

Dream weather again, a worthy end to the season 👍🏼🤩

Indian summer in the Allgäu Alps, little going on (except on the Hahnenköpfle itself, there it was well attended for the Köpfle) and great company; what more do you want?

Actually it (or I 🙃) should have gone very differently:

The plan was to climb the Aggenstein from the north-west; is said to be better for uphill and then downhill over the Bad Kissinger hut.

Great tightrope walk with chilly breaks on the southern slope of the Iselergrats in the direction of Tannheimer Tal.

Guys, an absolute insane hammering tour is behind me; I would almost say that this was my best hike this year? (I've got it from a Komootler, but I do not remember who 🤣)

Beautiful tour again in the Allgäu Alps!

Climb up the Gaisalphorn, then onto the Rubihorn and then a dip in the ice-cold water of the Gaisalpsee!

.... and a cool cyclist in one of the quaint Alps may not be missing!

Absolutely successful day!

Graduation then in Rubi in Almenhof, just scary good regional cuisine!

Very nice hike on mostly well walkable paths and paths over the 3 Sonnenköpfe with fantastic views and with a little luck great moments with the local wildlife!

We started this morning shortly after 7 am: up the Gaisbachtobel to the Lower Gaisalpsee, on to the upper Gaisaplsee, to the Gaisfuß and below the Nebelhorn over to the Deinenkopf 🤩

The day was perfect for it, and as soon as you have left the lower Gaisalpsee behind you, you are almost at peace (unless… leggi altro

Since the huts are already available (and there is no cultivated alp on the way anyway), the loneliness factor is extremely high; I was completely alone up to the lake, the subsequent encounters remained in the single digits 😄

Ho fatto un bellissimo tour in bicicletta 🚵 e un'escursione 🧗🏽‍♀️ con @Thomas Lacher!

Da Tiefenbach abbiamo pedalato lungo la valle del Rohrmoos e poi fino all'Alpe Dinjörgen 🤪🥵.

Ciò è stato combinato con alcuni passaggi di spinta in cui era quasi più facile trasportare la bici 😄🙈
